External Solutions

Balconies
A polyurethane membrane is specified for external decks and balconies. This is a resilient product that stands up extremely well to the thermal stresses associated with a sunny terrace. Rain safe in hours and one-coat application means that your project should not be held up by the Melbourne weather compared with a multi-coat acrylic application. Compatible two part tile adhesives are readily available.
Retaining Walls
Systems for the waterproofing of retaining walls include Bituthene sheet membranes, liquid applied polyurethane and Isocyanate cured urethanes dependant upon particular application and specifications. We also have solutions where there is no access for conventional tanking such as where the building line is on the boundary.
Damp Proofing
There are a number of solutions available where ingress of water into a building results in rising or striking damp.
Driving rain striking through masonry walls can be stopped using penetrative sealers which block the tiny capillaries through which the water travels without altering the appearance of the wall.
Dampness coming through the walls and floors of basements and sunken rooms can be eradicated either from outside (if practical), by excavating, waterproofing the wall surface and installing drainage or from inside by using epoxy coatings or specialised waterproof renders to hold the water back.
Failed damp proof courses can be replaced by the latest technology in siloxene paste injection
